STOREFRONTCONTROL POLICIES

Privacy Policy

How StoreFrontControl collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information

StoreFrontControl is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy enquiries and rights requests can be sent to sfcgq@proton.me.

2. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details, including your name, business name, email, telephone number and delivery address.
  • Order information, including products, quantities, destination links, programming instructions and support history.
  • Transaction information supplied by Stripe, such as payment status, amount and payment reference. We do not receive full card details.
  • Technical information ordinarily generated when you use a website, such as IP address, browser type and security or diagnostic data.
  • Communications and enquiries you send to us.

3. Why we use it

We use personal information to take and fulfil orders, program and deliver products, process payments, provide support, prevent fraud, keep business and tax records, improve our services and comply with legal obligations.

Our principal lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving StoreFrontControl. Where consent is required for optional marketing, you may withdraw it at any time.

4. Who receives information

We share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers involved in operating the business, including Stripe for payment processing, hosting and technology providers, email providers and delivery carriers. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or in connection with a legitimate business transfer.

5. International processing

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we rely on the provider’s lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate contractual or organisational safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Order, payment and accounting records are generally retained for up to seven years where needed for tax, contractual and legal purposes. Routine enquiries are normally retained for up to two years after the last interaction. Programming information may be retained while needed to provide replacement or support services. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to certain processing, obtain portable information and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Security and cookies

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet service is completely risk-free. This website does not currently use advertising cookies. Essential hosting, security and payment technologies may be used to deliver the website and checkout.

9. Updates

We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page.
